COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Creating art is often a solitary pursuit. One of the many reasons artists choose to join the Association is their desire to interact with other art-loving people in our local community. Outreach is a critical and gratifying part of our mission to share an awareness and appreciation of art. Members may teach classes, mentor young artists, offer lectures on their unique technique or discuss gallery artwork with visitors while serving as a docent. Our community outreach efforts include art education for high school and college students and opportunities for non-members to participate in our art receptions, classes, programs and community art events.

Joyful interaction with our community is inspiring to all!

Sidewalk Chalk Art

For over 10 years, the Paso Robles Art Association, in conjunction with the Downtown Main Street Association, presents this community event in our historic downtown. Students of all ages gather to create their vision on the sidewalk surrounding our central park. Member and community support helps the Association fund student art education programs.

Student Outreach

Memberships in the Association are provided and students are encouraged to enter exhibits and attend meetings, classes, workshops and events.
